Tell us what you did during Active Aging Week to redefine the term "Active."
To conclude our Active Aging Week events we had an Awards Banquet to recognize the residents in our community that embody the 7 dimensions of wellness. A winner from each of our three neighborhoods (Independent, Assisted, Memory Care) were chosen by their peers in the community. We had a red carpet arrival complete with step and repeat photographs and paparazzi where everyone could show off their cocktail attire. Followed by an Oscars style award ceremony where each Department Manager presented the awards. Each winner was called to the front and received thunderous applause when accepting their certificate and trophy. It was an affair to remember here at Waltonwood and Residents are still talking about how much fun they had going all out for Active Aging Week!
