Each year, an article is published in the Journal on Active Aging about the week, and we want to hear from you about what happened during the Week, and how your participants responded. Please be a reporter for ICAA, and take notes during the week. What happened? Who was there? What interesting or moving incident occurred?
About photos: We welcome your photos (with permission to print them or post them on the ICAA website or Facebook page). To appear in the Journal on Active Aging, your photos must be high-resolution, at 300 dpi (dots per inch). Please set your camera to the highest resolution.
Compress files or use file sharing: Photos can fill up emails quickly, so compress them using a program like WinZip, or invite ICAA to a Dropbox www.dropbox.com or send using a free online service (have to enter a password first) like www.hightail.com (for Hightail, place everything in a folder first).
Free resources: There is still time for you to take advantage of the free resources on the Active Aging Week website, provided courtesy of our sponsors. Go to www.activeagingweek.com and start downloading or viewing the Theme Days. To see what others are doing and share your own plans, go to the official Active Aging Week website on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/ActiveAgingWeek
Reading about all the people, places and adventures held during Active Aging Week is an annual highlight for the ICAA staff. We learn a lot from your creativity.
Please plan to send us your story when the week is over . Email to firstname.lastname@example.org
