Tell us what you did during Active Aging Week to redefine the term "Active."
We held a "Monte Carlo Night" for the entire community. Residents were invited to dinner and dancing, followed by casino games. Games included Blackjack, Texas Hold'Em Poker, Roulette. We reached out to our vendors and received 54 gift baskets to raffle off at the end of the evening. Another event was "SPICE in Motion Walk w/Bayada". Residents were teamed up and given shirts in the colors of SPICE. They enter into the relay walk and the winning team won Pub Lunch Certificates. Our Glee Club performed a Fall Harvest Concert for residents, families and friends. Approximately 20 members, an AL resident playing his clarinet and a Dining Server singing Opera in accompaniment with the residents.
