Tell us what you did during Active Aging Week to redefine the term "Active."
For our Active Aging Week we were quite busy. We had a fun circus party, playing many games and enjoying some circus themed snacks. We had a Oktoberfest Lunch Celebration with polka music and German themed food and drinks. We also had a Lunch trip to the beautiful countryside and enjoyed some shopping and visited outside for over an hour just talking with each other. We had a Garden group come and make crafts with the residents. We also swam in our pool one afternoon. We celebrated National Taco Day with a Happy Hour serving up delicious beef and chicken taco pile ups. Had a Saturday drive to see some pretty sights and ice cream on the way home. And rounding out the week we attended a Jazz concert that we attend once a month.
